This morning the Alinaça SIPA was present at the Mato Grosso Institute of Cotton (IMA-MT) unit in Rondonópolis, in the person of Deputy Director Edicarlos Damacena de Souza, in a different way … not to do research, but to honor the arrival of new technology for our Agribusiness.
The focus of the event was the launch of the first station of the 5G Internet Pilot project. This station that will be used for testing at a research station in partnership with Conectar Agro, Nokia and TIM.
Several political authorities from the region were present, as well as the Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, Tereza Cristina, and the Minister of Communications, Fábio Faria, which encourages to increase connectivity, voice and data to the agricultural sector.
IMA-MT is a partner of Aliança SIPA and REM-MT in the project of Integrated Production of Pastures and Agricultural Crops (PISA), which studies alternatives for the cultivation of soy and cotton in sandy soils, in order to promote an increase in productivity and mitigation of greenhouse gases. It is gratifying to see one of our Units of Excellence inserted more and more in innovation!
