The Aliança SIPA is an initiative that promotes cooperation between the public and private sectors for research and dissemination of Integrated Agricultural Production Systems under the pillars of sustainable intensification.
The Aliança SIPA is led by the Research Group on Integrated Agricultural Production System (GPSIPA) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), by the Agricultural Technology Innovation Center (NITA) at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), and by the Research and Innovation Group on Pure and Integrated Agricultural Production Systems (GPISI) at the Federal University of Rondonópolis (UFR), recognized for solid technical-scientific production and extensive experience in SIPA research and human resources training.
Developing, in the most diverse sectors os society , a concept for food, fibers and energy production, that is in consonance to the principles of sustainable agicultural intensification, through a fund fostered by national and international, public and private companies: the Integrated Crop-Livestock Systems (SIPA) are also known as Crop-Livestock Integration.
